Abdo Darakji promoted to Agiboo Customer Success Team Leader

Today we’d like to share an update from ‘within’ Agiboo. We’re proud to share that Abdo Darakji has been promoted to Customer Success Team Leader, a new position that has been created now that both our Customer Success and Professional Services divisions each have their own team leader.

As a (potential) client of Agiboo, you might already know Abdo from his work in Professional Services (PS), where he has been consulting with clients and helping shape the way Agiblocks fits seamlessly into business operations.

His journey at our company started six years ago, when he had been in the Netherlands for only one year after coming over from Lebanon, and moved to Almere to live near our headquarters – which has since moved to Harderwijk. He started out as a consultant and over time grew into a senior consultant, guiding clients through everything from simple feature questions (“What does this button do?”) to complex challenges like configuring Agiblocks to handle entirely new business lines. His approach has always been collaborative, he says. “Thinking along with customers in their daily challenges, and ensuring Agiboo’s vision for implementation aligns with each client’s unique needs.”

Customer Success

Now, as Customer Success Team Leader, Abdo is taking on a new challenge. With PS and Customer Success moving under separate leadership, he is focusing on building and guiding the team at the latter division. The shift reflects a key difference between the two areas: “In support, the key is to be as quick as possible, because there might be a technical issue, or an error in implementation, and customers are just looking for a fast response – they need their software solution to work. In consulting, everything goes. It might be a company’s specific vision on implementation and needs, fitting Agiblocks into their business scenario, or maybe even the other way around. It’s about working with the customer to collaborate on the best strategy moving forward, whatever the challenges may be.”

Consulting and Customer Success each play a vital role in your journey as a customer, requiring distinct but equally important approaches. Consulting is strategic and long-term, focused on aligning Agiblocks with your evolving business needs. Support, on the other hand, is about responsiveness and precision — ensuring that any technical issues or urgent questions are resolved quickly and effectively.

“Both functions are essential,” Abdo explains. “Consulting helps shape the future, while Customer Success ensures stability in the present. By streamlining our teams, we can deliver a more consistent experience and strengthen customer relationships across the board.” Looking ahead, Abdo is especially enthusiastic about increasing engagement with you. “We want to hear from our customers,” he emphasizes. “Feedback is essential for us to keep improving, and we truly value input from our customers.”
