Happy Holidays from Agiboo! Season’s greetings and a quick recap of 2025, a year of progress and innovation - Agiboo

As we’re crossing out that last days of the year on our office scheduler (show of hands: who still has chocolate left in their advent calendar?) and are getting in the mood for the Twelve Days of Christmas, we’d like to take a brief moment to review the twelve months that came before.

2025 has been a dynamic and rewarding year for Agiboo, marked by meaningful developments, inspiring encounters and steady progress toward our mission of making commodity trading smarter, simpler and more sustainable. And did you know that 2025 was the perfect year to transform your trading operations?

Throughout the year, we shared insights, updates and stories that reflect both the evolution of our software and the people behind it. We’d like to highlight of few of them.

A strong focus in 2025 was placed on enhancing Agiblocks with practical, user-driven improvements. New features and add-ons were introduced to help users work more efficiently, gain clearer insights and better manage their daily operations, reinforcing our commitment to continuous improvement and real-world usability. We’ve even started a new series to address all the new features (see below).

A.I. is here to stay

Another key theme has of course been artificial intelligence. We explored how AI is increasingly shaping the future of commodity trading, from smarter decision-making to improved risk management and automation, and shared our perspective on how these innovations can be applied in practice. In the new year, we’ll tell you all about Agiblocks-specific AI innovations as well, so stay tuned!

Beyond product development, 2025 was also a year of connection, strengthening our focus on customer success and helping shape the way Agiblocks fits seamlessly into business operations. For instance, we were proud to share that Abdo Darakji has been promoted to Customer Success Team Leader, a new position that has been created now that both our Customer Success and Professional Services divisions each have their own team leader. Consulting and support each play a vital role in your journey as a customer, requiring distinct but equally important approaches.

“In support, the key is to be as quick as possible, because there might be a technical issue, or an error in implementation, and customers are just looking for a fast response – they need their software solution to work. In consulting, everything goes. It might be a company’s specific vision on implementation and needs, fitting Agiblocks into their business scenario, or maybe even the other way around. It’s about working with the customer to collaborate on the best strategy moving forward, whatever the challenges may be.”

The start of a new series

Last but not least in 2025, we’ve introduced a new series called ‘Solving commodity trade challenges with Agiblocks Add-ons’ to address the various Agiblocks add-ons (new as well as existing) that are available outside of our standard pricing plans. To kick-off the brand new series, we’ve published an introduction as well as the very first chapter: on sampling.

The add-on Sampling in Agiblocks is a set of features that tracks and manages samples taken from commodity inventory and shipments – essential for quality control in soft commodities. It digitizes the entire process – tracking samples, lab results, and linking them to contracts – giving traders and QA teams full visibility into quality metrics. You can read it here.

In the new year, we’ll publish several new chapters in the series, covering Agiblocks add-ons from blending and processing to our automated VAT calculator, import purchase executions and enhanced email capabilities. We are grateful to everyone who followed our journey, read our articles and engaged with us along the way, and we look ahead to 2026 with enthusiasm, ready to continue building on this momentum.
