8th SCTA Gala Dinner 2017

Swiss Coffee Trade Association (SCTA) represents, protects & promotes swiss coffee traders. We act as platform to improve awareness on our day to day work and promote coffee trade globally.

SCTA acts as a networking platform by organising yearly events & liaise with the administration and the authorities for specific matters related to coffee trade.

Coffee is one of the most traded commodities in the world and is produced in over 60 countries. The SCTA is currently comprised of a total of 35 members approximately, mainly industry and trade.The Association’s major aim is to protect and promote the interests of its members within Switzerland.

Industry members range from local roasters to divisions of worldwide manufacturers. Likewise, our trade members include those solely supplying the smaller roasters to the multinational houses.

SCTA allow membership of companies not directly involved in trading or manufacturing and SCTA therefore welcome those involved in such as financing, risk management, insurance, transportation, warehousing as well as other associations with an interest in coffee.

Although Switzerland is a relatively small consumer, volume wise our members handle in excess of half of world coffee exports from producing countries.
